Return & Refund Policy – Sneaker Cleaners

Service-Based Cleaning Policy

Sneaker Cleaners provides professional cleaning services for footwear and accessories. As our business offers a service, not a retail product, refunds and returns are handled according to the terms below and in line with Australian Consumer Law.


No Refunds for Change of Mind

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a cleaning service has been accepted or completed.

  • This includes dissatisfaction based on:

    • Expected results not matching personal preference

    • Incomplete stain removal

    • Normal wear becoming more visible after cleaning


Cleaning Results

  • Cleaning outcomes vary depending on:

    • Material type

    • Age and condition of the footwear

    • Manufacturer quality

    • Previous wear or cleaning attempts

  • We do not guarantee complete stain removal or restoration to “like-new” condition.


Colour & Material Disclaimer

  • Refunds will not be provided for:

    • Colour fade or dye bleed

    • Discolouration of laces, soles, stitching, or trims

    • Material deterioration due to age, wear, or manufacturer defects

  • These risks are acknowledged by the customer before cleaning.


Re-Clean Policy (If Applicable)

  • If you are not satisfied with the cleaning workmanship, you may request one complimentary re-clean within 24 hours of collection.

  • Re-cleans are assessed at our discretion and do not apply to:

    • Colour changes

    • Material damage

    • Stains that cannot be safely removed


Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a remedy if:

  • The service was not provided with due care and skill, or

  • The service was not delivered as agreed

Where applicable, we may:

  • Re-perform the service, or

  • Offer a partial refund, at our discretion


Inspection & Collection

  • Customers must inspect items at the time of collection or within 24 hours.

  • Any issues reported after this time will not be eligible for review or refund.


Non-Collectable or Abandoned Items

  • Items not collected within a reasonable timeframe may incur storage fees.

  • Items left uncollected for an extended period may be disposed of in accordance with business policy.
